ANTI-MONEY LAUNDERING (AML) & SANCTIONS COMMITMENT

1. Purpose

The World Organization of Women Nations Womafreesm Inc. ("Womafreesm") is committed to maintaining the highest standards of financial integrity, transparency, and legal compliance.

Although Womafreesm is a charitable organization, we recognize our responsibility to protect our organization, donors, beneficiaries, volunteers, partners, and the public from financial crime.

This Commitment outlines our principles regarding Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Counter-Terrorist Financing (CTF), sanctions compliance, and financial integrity.

2. Our Commitment

Womafreesm is committed to:

• preventing money laundering;
• preventing terrorist financing;
• preventing fraud and financial abuse;
• complying with applicable United States laws and international regulations;
• protecting the integrity of charitable donations;
• maintaining responsible financial governance.

3. Risk-Based Approach

Womafreesm applies a proportionate, risk-based approach to compliance.

The level of due diligence performed depends on factors including:

• donation amount;
• payment method;
• geographic location;
• nature of the relationship;
• applicable legal and regulatory requirements.

4. Donor Due Diligence

Where appropriate, Womafreesm may request additional information regarding:

• donor identity;
• source of donated funds;
• intended purpose of donations;
• organizational affiliation;
• supporting documentation.

The organization reserves the right to decline or suspend donations where sufficient information is not provided.

5. Sanctions Compliance

Womafreesm does not knowingly accept funds from, or enter into partnerships with, individuals or organizations subject to applicable international sanctions.

Compliance screening may include publicly available sanctions lists issued by:

• U.S. Department of the Treasury - Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC);
• United Kingdom HM Treasury;
• European Union;
• United Nations Security Council;
• other competent authorities where applicable.

6. Restricted Transactions

Womafreesm reserves the right to refuse, suspend, investigate, or return funds where there is reasonable concern regarding:

• sanctions exposure;
• suspected money laundering;
• terrorist financing;
• fraud;
• corruption;
• unlawful activity;
• reputational risk;
• inability to verify required information.

7. Financial Transparency

All donations received by Womafreesm are used exclusively to advance the organization's charitable mission.

The organization maintains appropriate financial controls, accounting procedures, and governance practices designed to ensure responsible stewardship of charitable assets.

8. Record Keeping

Financial records and donation documentation are maintained in accordance with applicable legal, tax, and regulatory requirements.

Records are retained for appropriate periods to support financial accountability and compliance.

9. Reporting Obligations

Where required by applicable law, Womafreesm will cooperate with competent governmental authorities and comply with lawful reporting obligations relating to financial crime, sanctions, fraud, or other prohibited activities.

10. Governance and Oversight

Oversight of financial integrity and compliance is exercised by the Board of Directors and authorized officers of Womafreesm.

The organization periodically reviews its financial controls and compliance practices to ensure they remain appropriate as operations expand.
